Peskov says new meeting between Russian, U.S. intelligence chiefs possible

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - A new meeting between Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergei Naryshkin and United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director William Burns is possible, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"Indeed, it cannot be ruled out, and certainly, this dialogue could be useful. I am not aware of precise dates," Peskov told journalists on Tuesday, in commenting on Naryshkin's remark suggesting that he might meet Burns again.

Journalists also asked Peskov to comment on Naryshkin's remark that Russian special services are discussing Ukraine with their European counterparts; in particular, they asked the Kremlin spokesman what those discussions concerned.

"No, this is a question for the special services," Peskov replied.
