Bosch replaces head of its office in Russia, CIS

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Andrey Krivosheev, director for marketing, sales and operations, has become the head of Robert Bosch LLC, the office of German's Bosch Group in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to Russia's Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Krivosheev in mid-December 2022 took over from Steffen Hoffmann, who had led Robert Bosch LLC from early 2021.

Krivosheev graduated from St. Petersburg State University (SPBGU) and in 2004 began to work for international projects for innovative technology development in Russia, China, the U.S. and Germany. He oversaw electric tools within the Bosch network in the CIS as a top manager from 2004. In 2018, he was appointed director for marketing, sales and operations at the Bosch office in the region.

At the beginning of last year, the office encompassed divisions operating in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia.

Hoffmann told Interfax in an interview in early February 2022 that the company's earnings in the region were up 19% to reach 1.6 billion euro in 2021.

After the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the Russia office of Bosch pointed at its obligations with regard to compliance with anti-Russian sanctions introduced by the EU. In early March 2022, the company said that it was evaluating the dynamic of developments and studying their influence on its business. By mid-March, Bosch had announced the decision to halt production and deliveries of home appliances for the Russian market.
