Additions to be made to Russia's foreign policy concept - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Additions will be made to the Russian foreign policy concept, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

However, the timeframe for completing this work is still unknown, he said.

"Additions will be made to it, the work will be finalized, there will be certain additions there," Peskov told reporters, speaking about the work on Russia's foreign policy concept.

The timeframe for its approval is not known yet, he said.

An expanded meeting of the Russian Security Council will not be needed for the approval of the concept, it can be done under a presidential decree, Peskov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the work on the concept in a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council in December.
