Novak: Russian oil exports up 7% in 2022

MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Russian oil exports rose 7% in 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mihail Mishustin.

"Despite the actions of unfriendly nations and sanctions restrictions, oil production last year totaled 535 million tonnes, up 10 million tonnes or 2% compared to 2021. Exports also rose 7%," Novak said.

Budget revenues from the oil and gas sector rose 28% or by 2.5 trillion rubles, he also said.
