Cosmonaut Fedyayev ends training for flight to ISS at SpaceX
WASHINGTON. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Russian cosmonaut Andrei Fedyayev, who will be going to the International Space Station (ISS) by the Crew Dragon spaceship in February, has been trained at the California base of the spaceship developer, SpaceX, another crewmember, UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi said on Sunday.
"Crew-6 has finished a final training week here at SpaceX," Al Neyadi said on Twitter.
Now Fedyayev and the other three crewmembers of Crew Dragon 6, Al Neyadi and U.S. astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, will move to the Johnson Space Center in Texas.
Russia's Gagarin Cosmonaut Center said earlier they would be trained in the simulated U.S. segment of the ISS, including how to deal with emergencies, and the Crew Dragon spaceship.
Crew Dragon 6 with Fedyayev onboard is scheduled to fly to the ISS on February 15.
