Ukraine receives 10 bridges from Norway

MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Ukraine has received ten bridges from Norway under a project worth in total 30 million Norwegian crowns, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Infrastructure Ministry's website on Wednesday.

These are provisional structures for the movement of heavy vehicles, i.e. trucks carrying humanitarian aid, ambulances, fire engines, maintenance crews, and other transport.

Norway has been the third country to donate humanitarian aid to Ukraine to rebuild its infrastructure. Temporary bridges earlier came to Ukraine from the Czech Republic and France.

The Ukrainian State Agency of Automobile Roads (Ukravtodor) also expects to receive bridges from Sweden and another shipment of Czech temporary crossings, the ministry said.

The exchange rate as of January 11, 2023 is 1 Norwegian crown/$0.10.
