Turkey to open honorary consulate in Lvov, western Ukraine
MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Turkey plans to open its honorary consulate in Lvov this year, a move that will help implement joint projects, head of the Lvov region's military administration Maxim Kozitsky said.
"Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Guldere made this announcement at our meeting today," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Kozitsky as saying in a social media post on Monday.
"The opening of an honorary consulate will facilitate the implementation of joint projects and will strengthen international contacts and ties," he said.
