Ukraine maintains licensing for exports of livestock, poultry, eggs, rye, millet, oats, buckwheat and fertilizers in 2023

MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved a list of goods, the export of which in 2023 requires licensing, adding buckwheat to it compared to 2022, the export of which was temporarily banned.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the government adopted a resolution to this effect on December 27, 2022 and published it on its website on January 2.

In particular, the government established licensing for export of live cattle, frozen cattle meat, chicken meat, meat and edible meat by-products, which are salty or in brine, dried or smoked; edible flour from meat or meat by-products; chicken eggs.

Additionally, the export of rye, oats, millet, sugar, nitrogen, phosphate and potash fertilizers, fertilizers in tablets or similar forms or packages of gross weight not exceeding 10 kilograms, as well as buckwheat is subject to licensing again in 2023.
