Domino's Pizza master franchisee mulls selling Russian business

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - DP Eurasia N.V., the master franchisee of the Domino's Pizza chain in Turkey, Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, does not rule out selling the Russian business.

"DP Eurasia is evaluating its presence in Russia, the impact of sanctions and its continuing ability to serve its customers in Russia," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Consequently, the Company is considering various options which may include a divestment of its Russian operations. Whilst work on a potential transaction is ongoing, there can be no certainty as to the outcome," DP Eurasia said.

DP Eurasia announced in the spring that it would suspend investment in the Russian business and forego royalties from this business.

DP Eurasia had 845 outlets as of October 31, including 171 in Russia.
