MegaFon buys developer of AI-based analytical services oneFactor from USM

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - MegaFon has acquired 100% of Yedinyfaktor LLC (oneFactor), a developer of analytical services based on artificial intelligence, the Russian mobile services provider said.

The seller was USM Telecom LLC, a division of billionaire Alisher Usmanov's USM Holdings, which also owns MegaFon, data from the SPARK-Interfax analytics system showed. USM acquired 100% of oneFactor in February as part of the division of assets with Anton Cherepennikov's ICS Holding.

MegaFon said the deal, the price of which was not disclosed, will enable it to strengthen its expertise in the area of bid data and offer new solutions for subscribers and businesses.

oneFactor develops AI-based analytical services for banks, insurers, e-commerce, retail and tourism. The company's products include services for risk assessment, lead generation for developing commerce and business, geoanalysis in tourism and the urban environment, and other products using bid data.

Following the deal, oneFactor will retain all existing contracts and continue to provide services to third parties, MegaFon said.

Yedinyfaktor LLC, which was registered in 2010, closed 2021 with a net profit of 898.6 million rubles on sales revenue of 1.4 billion rubles, the SPARK-Interfax system showed.
