Otkritie Bank might soon sell Qiwi stake

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - Otkritie Bank is working on selling its stake in payment services company Qiwi and does not rule out a deal soon, the Russian lender's president and CEO, Mikhail Zadornov said on Tuesday.

"We are now working on having the Qiwi stake also find a private investor and, perhaps, this deal will also be carried out very soon," Zadornov told reporters.

Otkritie Bank owns a voting stake of 13.7% in Qiwi, according to the most recent public data.
