Only one of two cross-flights to ISS in 2023 agreed upon so far due to emergency involving Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Roscosmos and the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have so far agreed on only one of two cross-flights to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2023 due to an emergency involving the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft, Roscosmos Executive Director for Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev said.

"The emergency situation will apparently impose restrictions on the flight program. We will have to make an additional decision on next year's cross-flight," Krikalev told reporters on Monday.

"One cross-flight has already been agreed upon, but the second one will depend heavily on how the abnormal situation will affect the program," he said.
