Switzerland sends 40 generators, 40 heaters to Ukraine

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Switzerland has organized another humanitarian shipment of 40 heaters and 40 generators to Ukraine, the Swiss Foreign Ministry said.

"The materials have been gathered by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which also organizes transportation. The possible shipment of additional assistance is being considered," the Ukrainian media quoted the Swiss Foreign Ministry as saying.

The trucks carrying the equipment headed to Ukraine on December 23. This is part of a broader action plan, which aims to help the Ukrainian population through the winter.

Switzerland supplied 30 generators to Ukraine last week, the report said.
