Zelensky does not rule out new foreign visits

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has not ruled out new foreign visits if they potentially have the same strategic significance and substance as the visit to the United States and if their results are crucial for the Ukrainian army.

"We are back from the United States. This is the first foreign visit I have paid since February 24, and this is the visit to a key ally of our country, the United States. It was a productive visit. [...] I suggest that you view this visit as a very important guideline, as a bar we have set," the Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying at a conference of Ukrainian ambassadors on Friday.

Zelensky said he was unable to pay foreign visits the way he did earlier but more visits were possible.

"If any visit potentially has the same significant, important, strategic substance as the visit I have just paid to the United States, there may be exceptions from the general practice of the crisis, and my negotiations can also be held in peson," Zelensky said.
