ISTANBUL. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Over 15 million tonnes of agricultural products have been exported from Ukraine under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoglu said.

"The total amount of transported cargo has exceeded 15 million 80 thousand tonnes. [...] Some 13 different types of grain [...] were transported by ships. A total of 585 grain-loaded ships have left Ukrainian ports" between August 1 and December 25, the Anadolu agency quoted Karaismailoglu as saying.

In his words, 44% of Ukrainian exports went to Europe, 29% to Asia, 15% to Turkey, and 12% to Africa.

The United Nations, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine signed documents in Istanbul on July 22 to open a grain corridor from three Ukrainian ports, namely, Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny.
