Russian oil cos rerouting exports to Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America - Novak

MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - Russian oil companies, faced with sanctions, are rerouting shipments of crude and oil products to the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and Latin America, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview on TV channel Rossiya 24.

"Companies have reconfigured logistics schemes, agreed on payments. To a large extent, of course, we're now seeing that as a result of unfriendly actions our energy resources are being redirected to other markets, the markets of friendly countries. Foremost these are the Asia-Pacific region, African countries, Latin American countries, if we're talking about oil products," Novak said.

Oil production in Russia is currently stable.
