Power supply situation in Kiev slightly improves - Yasno company head

MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - The power supply situation has approved in Kiev, especially on the city's left bank, general director of the Yasno power supplier Sergei Kovalenko said.

"The situation in Kiev has improved a little bit. The way power is being distributed is that the left bank of the capital is very close to the schedules. The situation on the right bank is slightly worse than on the left bank, but it is better than it was yesterday. Korenevka and Obolon are still facing serious problems. A smaller amount of electricity is being supplied to these districts for now," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Kovalenko as saying in an overnight social media post.

Provisional arrangements made it possible to restore power supply to houses, and repair efforts are continuing, he said.
