Zadornov to leave Otkritie Bank on Jan 1, former UniCredit head Alekseyev to be nominated as new CEO

MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - Otkritie Bank CEO Mikhail Zadornov will resign from his post on January 1, 2023, the press service of VTB said in a statement.

"We are grateful to him [Mikhail Zadornov] for the work done. Mikhail Alekseyev, former head of UniCredit and former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Russia (CBR), will be nominated for the position of executive board chairman. We expect that there will also be considerable changes in the composition of the board," according to the statement.
