Azerbaijani, Turkish defense ministers discuss prospects of military cooperation
BAKU. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar have discussed the prospects of developing military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
The meeting took place during Hasanov's official visit to Turkey.
"At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of developing cooperation in the military, military-technical, military educational and other fields and noted the importance of further broadening these activities," the ministry said.
Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation, which relies on mutual trust and support, will continue to develop successfully and will become even stronger, the ministers said.
