Consultations with IAEA head to take place in Moscow on Thursday - Russian rep in Vienna

MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Consultations with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi will take place in Moscow on Thursday, December 22, and will address the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said.

"Consultations with Rafael Grossi will take place in Moscow as early as tomorrow and will address the issue or, to be more exact, the director general's initiative of forming a zone of nuclear physical safety and security around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant," Ulyanov said at a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday.

"The process has been dragging on, yet certain aspects may be clarified tomorrow. We will be represented by an interagency delegation of officials from the Foreign Ministry, Rosatom, the Defense Ministry, the Russian National Guard and Rostekhnadzor - such a representative composition," Ulyanov said.

"Let us wait and see how the consultations end," he said.
