Roscosmos planning to build 2 satellite plants - corp head

MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Roscosmos is planning a 10-billion-ruble initial bond issue in 2023 to invest in building two satellite plants, Roscosmos head Yury Borisov said in an interview with the newspaper Vedomosti.

"An initial bond issue is planned for 2023 in the amount of 10 billion rubles. The money will serve as a basis for building two plants for serial satellite production," Borisov said.

One of the plants will be built in Krasnoyarsk together with Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems, and the other might be built in the Moscow region.

"The bonds to be issued by the Roscosmos financial division in a centralized manner will be placed on Russian stock exchanges mainly among authorized banks, as well as private investors on the following terms: maximum volume - up to 50 billion rubles, term - 15-20 years, payment of coupon income - every 181 days," Borisov said.
