Gazprom board of directors approves record investment program of 2.3 trln rubles for 2023

MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Gazprom's board of directors has approved an investment program of 2.3 trillion rubles for 2023, the Russian gas giant said.

"The overall volume of financing for the investment program is 2.3 trillion rubles. The figures have not changed in comparison to the option approved by management in November. Among priority projects are the development of the Yamal, Yakutsk, and Irkutsk gas production centers, the Power of Siberia pipeline, Gazprom's gas processing complex, and projects ensuring peak gas balance," Gazprom said.

"The financial plan approved will cover Gazprom's obligations without a deficit, in full," it said.

The investment program for 2022 in its initial form was planned at 1.758 trillion rubles, but was revised up to 1.98 trillion rubles following a traditional review after the first half of the year.
