Seven ships to deliver 182,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to Africa, Asia, Europe

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Another seven ships have departed the seaports of Greater Odessa in the past 48 hours as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative in order to deliver 182,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe, Ukraine media reported, citing the Infrastructure Ministry's post on social media.

Specifically, the Bosphorus Asia and Princess Manissa vessels, respectively, have departed with 30,500 tonnes and 20,500 tonnes of corn each for delivery to Tunisia and Libya, respectively.

As of Monday, 24 vessels in total are being processed and loaded with 973,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products at the ports involved in the Grain Initiative. Additionally, five vessels are in transit to load 104,400 tonnes of agricultural products.

According to the Infrastructure Ministry, 565 ships have departed the seaports of Greater Odessa since August 1 with 14.2 million tonnes of Ukrainian foodstuffs for Asia, Africa, and Europe.
