Russian Economic Development Ministry adjusts estimate for GDP contraction in Jan-Oct 2022 to 1.9% from 2.1% - Reshetnikov

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Russia's Economic Development Ministry has adjusted its estimate for the contraction in the country's GDP in January-October 2022 to 1.9% from 2.1%, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said when speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary assembly of Russia and Belarus.

"We have a 10-month estimate at a contraction of 1.9% [in GDP]," Reshetnikov said.

The ministry has adjusted its estimate for the dynamics of Russia's GDP for 10 months from a previous contraction of 2.1% in January-October.
