U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to allocate $17 mln to Ukraine to restore public health system
MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said that it would allocate $17 million to Ukraine to rehabilitate its public health system.
As the Ukrainian media reported, citing the website of the Health Ministry, of these funds $5.3 million will be spent on measures aimed at preventing the resistance to antimicrobial drugs, $7.7 million to enhance epidemiological control systems and laboratory capabilities, $2.6 million to improve the management of public health emergencies and $1.2 million to perfect the data update systems.
