Norway to supply 10 bridges to Ukraine - Ukravtodor road agency

MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax) - The Norwegian Public Roads Administration will hand over ten bridges to Ukravtodor as humanitarian aid, Ukrainian media said, citing the State Road Agency of Ukraine.

These bridges will replace those that have been destroyed, Ukravtodor said.

These are acrow/bailey temporary bridges on which heavy transport vehicle can move. Not only will these structures help connect different populated localities, but they will also ensure the delivery of humanitarian cargo, the passage of ambulances and repair teams and people's evacuation.

"The bridges, which cost a total of 30 million Norwegian kroner ($2.86 million), are financed from the Foreign Ministry's humanitarian budget. They are expected to arrive in Ukraine in January," Ukravtodor said.
