Russian, Belarusian boxers reinstated in WBA ratings
MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - The World Boxing Association (WBA) has decided to reinstate Russians and Belarusians into the WBA ratings, the organization said on its site.
"The athletes from this country are not soldiers or part of the government" and therefore have no relation to the conflict in Ukraine, the WBA said in its statement.
However, the WBA said any athlete who speaks in support of the special military operation will be removed from the rating.
Russian and Belarusian boxers were removed from the WBA ratings in March.
