France, IAEA to supply equipment to South Ukrainian NPP

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - France and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will jointly supply equipment to the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said.

"Additionally, France will finance a number of buildings to accommodate refugees from Mariupol. It is contributing to the demining and is supplying medical goods to meet the needs reported by Ukraine," the Ukrainian media quoted Colonna as saying at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in Paris.

France will provide school buses to transport children to schools, Colonna said.

"These are the main areas of France's assistance, this is assistance provided by the state. There is also assistance provided by NGOs, communities and businessmen who attended the conference," she said.
