Russia gets right to export animal food to Jordan

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Russia has received the right to export foodstuffs for productive animals and pets to Jordan.

The corresponding certificates have been approved by the relevant authority of this country, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) said.

Shipments of food and food additives of animal origin, including from poultry and fish, food additives for cats and dogs, and also thermally processed finished foodstuffs, for cats and dogs, foodstuffs and food additives received via chemical and microboloigical synthesis.

Enterprises interested in supplies need to pass an evaluation for compliance with the Jordanian requirements and be included in the register of exporters FGIS VetIS - Tserber. To start exporting, Russian suppliers will need to receive an import license in the Jordanian Agriculture Ministry.
