Azerbaijan provides 45 power transformers, 50 generators to Ukraine - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan has provided Ukraine with 50 generators and 45 power transformers as humanitarian assistance, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Ayhan Gajizade said.

"Azerbaijan is continuing to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Forty-five power transformers and 50 generators from Azerenergy have been sent to Ukraine. The overall Azerbaijani assistance to the population in need has topped 30 million manats (over $50 million) to date," the Ukrainian media quoted Gajizade as saying on a social network on Sunday.

Azerenergy is the largest electric power generating company in Azerbaijan.
