Ukraine's GDP decline slowed to 30.8% in Q3 - statistics service
MOSCOW. Dec 9 (Interfax) - Ukraine's real GDP fell 30.7% year-on-year in Q3 after dropping 37.2% in Q2 and 15.1% in Q1 2022, Ukrainian media said, quoting an estimate by the country's State Statistics Service.
Seasonally adjusted GDP grew 9% compared with Q2 2022.
GDP grew 3.4% in 2021 after falling 3.8% in 2020 and was around $200 billion in nominal terms.
The Ukrainian Economy Ministry has said the forecast GDP decline for 2022 as a whole is 33.2%.
The International Monetary Fund expects the Ukrainian economy to shrink 33% in 2022.
