DFC to issue $460,000 technical assistance grant to Ukrainian Catholic University

MOSCOW. Dec 9 (Interfax) - The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) will provide a $460,000 technical assistance grant to the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU).

A document to this effect was signed by DFC Chief Executive Officer Scott Nathan on Thursday, Ukrainian media said, citing a DFC press release.

The DFC funding will help UCU broaden its online programs, update educational programs and introduce new courses for students.

The grant builds upon DFC's $6.2 million loan provided to UCU in 2019.

"We look forward to continuing to work together as UCU prepares the next generation of leaders working to build Ukraine's free future", U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said.
