Vkusvill launches delivery in five CIS countries

MOSCOW. Dec 9 (Interfax) - Russian retailer Vkusvill, working with logistics partner Boxberry, has launched delivery services in Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the company said.

Currently available for delivery are Vkusvill products with a long shelf life that will not spoil and be damaged in transit, the retailer said. The assortment of more than 1,255 products includes vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, household cleaning products, dry goods and beverages, among others.

Average delivery times range from three to ten days, but the exact cost and time will depend on the distance of the population center and delivery address.

Shoppers can pick up orders at 517 points in 187 cities and get courier delivery in 22,000 population centers in Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Tajikistan, the company said.

The retailer launched delivery throughout Russia in June with Boxberry and Russian Post.

Vkusvill, one of Russia's fastest growing retailers, increased its revenue by 42.3% to 162.19 billion rubles in 2021. The company, which positions itself as a health food retailer, has more than 1,300 stores in 67cities in Russia, more than 120 dark stores, an Internet store and a mobile app.
