Gazprom Neft to maintain 2023 oil refining at record 2022 levels - in excess of 41 mln tonnes
MOSCOW. Dec 8 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft will maintain 2023 oil refining levels at the record highs seen in 2022 - in excess of 41 million tons, the company's head of Oil and Gas Processing Oleg Vedernikov told reporters.
The company is still forecasting oil refining volume growth at Russian refineries to a record high of over 41 million tonnes in 2022, he said. This growth will be ensured by modernization of the company's own refineries - the Moscow and Omsk refineries. In 9M 2022, total volume of refining at these refineries exceeded the results of the same period of 2021 by 3.5%, in 2020 - by 11.5%.
"In 2023, we forecast that, excluding scheduled repair factors, we will maintain the volume of refining at 2022 levels. At the same time, thanks to the deep refining complex, we will ensure growth of output of fuel and other petroleum products with refining volumes at the 2022 level," the executive said.
Vedernikov emphasized that in current conditions, the company pays great attention to the stable operation of production: "We cooperate with leading suppliers from Russia and friendly countries in refinery modernization projects. A separate area is the production of parts for scheduled plant repairs, which we have been consistently developing on the basis of our subsidiaries since 2015. Now the production provides a full cycle of engineering and manufacturing of spare parts, including for dynamic equipment. By 2025, we plan to double the range of parts for the company's production assets."
