Inter RAO carrying out commercial electricity supplies to Kazakhstan for months - CEO

UFA. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Inter RAO has been carrying out electricity supplies to Kazakhstan for months, CEO Boris Kovalchuk told reporters.

"Commercial deliveries from Inter RAO have been going on for more than just the one month. Volumes fluctuate from month to month, in a range of 50-150 MW," he said.

It emerged at the end of 2021 that Kazakhstan had asked Inter RAO for the first time in quite a while to begin commercial electricity supplies to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan's capacity shortage was estimated at 600 MW at its peak last winter.
