Vietnam's TH Group builds dairy farm in Kaluga Region, imports livestock - authorities

MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Vietnam's TH Group has completed the construction of the first stage of a dairy farm in the Ulyanovsk district of the Kaluga Region, deputy governor of the region, Vladimir Popov, said on his official Telegram channel.

According to Popov, the company plans to bring 2,500 cows to the farm by the end of December this year.

TH also completed the construction of the foundation of a milk processing plant at the Borovsk site of the Kaluga special economic zone (SEZ).

It was reported earlier that the first stage of the dairy plant in the Kaluga Region, with investments totaling $155 million, was supposed to be launched in 2019, and milk processing was supposed to reach full capacity by 2021. The reasons for the delay in implementing the projects have not been specified.

TH Group is a major dairy products producer in Vietnam.
