Ukrainian embassies, consulates in 12 countries receive 21 threats - Foreign Ministry spokesperson

MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Ukraine's embassies and consulates in 12 countries have received 21 threats, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oleg Nikolenko said.

"The Spanish police seized three new envelopes in the post office, which presumably contained animal eyes and were addressed to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid, the Consulate General in Barcelona and the Consulate in Malaga. An investigation has been opened," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Nikolenko as saying in a social media post.

"There is nothing that can intimidate or break Ukrainian diplomats. We will keep working efficiently," he said.
