Russian budget had oil and gas revenue shortfall of 90.2 bln rubles in Nov

MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - The total deviation of actually received oil and gas revenues from the expected monthly volume and the estimate of the baseline monthly volume was minus 90.2 billion rubles at the end of November 2022, Russia's Finance Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

The expected volume of additional oil and gas revenues to the federal budget, as associated with the excess of the actual oil price over the baseline level, is forecast at 176.1 billion rubles in December. Thus, when accounting for the deviation in November, the total amount of funds for additional oil and gas revenues is estimated at 85.9 billion rubles.

Owing to the suspension of certain provisions of the budget rules related to the use of additional oil and gas revenues of the federal budget for 2022, the purchase of foreign currency and gold utilizing the funds will not be effected, the of Finance Ministry recalled.
