Flixbus to launch 3 routes from Ukraine to Poland, Czech Republic, one partner route to Moldova starting Dec 15

MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Flixbus, an international intercity bus service, has announced the launch of three new international lines from Ukraine starting December 15, namely from Vinnitsa to Warsaw, from Ivano-Frankovsk to Poznan, and from Poltava to Prague, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the company's press service.

Flixbus Managing Director for Ukraine, Poland, and the Baltic States Michal Leman said the company's Ukrainian network has never been as strong as it is now, serving 14 lines departing 13 Ukrainian cities.

The company said tickets for routes No. 3242 (Vinnitsa-Khmelnitsky-Lvov-Lublin-Warsaw), No. 3245 (Ivano-Frankovsk-Lvov-Rzeszow-Lodz-Poznan), and No. 3271 (Poltava-Kiev-Lvov-Krakow-Prague) can now be purchased online on the operator's website or with partner agencies.

Green-liveried Flixbus buses have been earmarked to service said routes.

Flixbus has also announced launching a line from Kiev to Moldova's Chisinau to be serviced by the partner operator Trans City. Buses connecting these two cities will depart Kiev at 5:00 p.m. and arrive in Chisinau at 5:00 a.m. the next day.

As reported earlier, Flixbus has launched six new lines from Ukraine to Europe since the start of the crisis in Ukraine. The company is currently serving a total of 14 lines from Ukraine to five European countries, namely Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria.

Flixbus was founded in 2013 and provides intercity bus services in Europe and the United States. It operates in partnership with local bus companies providing their buses and route documents.

Flixbus announced the opening of its office in Ukraine in June 2019. The company launched domestic lines in Ukraine in July 2020.
