Over 700 enterprises established in Uzbekistan with Russian capital in 2022 - PM Aripov
SAMARKAND. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Over 700 enterprises have been established in Uzbekistan with Russian capital this year, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said.
"The number of enterprises established in Uzbekistan with Russian investments has tripled to nearly 3,000 over the past few years. More than 700 enterprises have been established since the beginning of this year," Aripov said at a meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the two heads of government. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin took part in the meeting.
About 1,000 enterprises with Uzbek capital are working in Russia, Aripov said.
Mishustin is paying a working visit to Uzbekistan on December 1-2. Together with Aripov, he has chaired a meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government and has addressed a plenary meeting of the Russian-Uzbek business forum.
