Ukraine sends 27,000 tonnes of wheat to Algeria

MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Ports of Greater Odessa sent 126,000 tonnes of grain under the Black Sea Grain Initiative on Thursday.

"A convoy of three vessels has departed Greater Odessa ports today to deliver 126,000 tonnes of agricultural produce to countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe. These include the Golden Arsenal bulker carrying Ukrainian grain for Algeria," Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

The ports involved in the Black Sea Grain Initiative are currently loading 22 vessels with 767,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural produce.

Four other vessels are also following the Grain Corridor to be loaded with 205,000 tonnes of foodstuffs.

Since August 1, 2022, a total of 508 vessels have departed Greater Odessa ports to export 12.4 million tonnes of Ukrainian produce to Asian, European, and African countries.
