Kazakhstan, France sign over 30 documents as part of Tokayev's visit to Paris

ASTANA. Nov 30 (Interfax) - Thirty-five documents were signed as part of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's official visit to France, the presidential press service said.

In particular, an intergovernmental agreement between the Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on the implementation of the construction project of a one-gigawatt wind power station in the Jambyl region was signed.

Additionally, an agreement on basic principles of the implementation of projects, production and maintenance of electric locomotives and equipment for rolling stock and infrastructure of railway transport in Kazakhstan was signed between the Kazakh government and Alstom Holdings SA, as well as an agreement on cooperation on the establishment of a genetics center between the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and Synetics.

The following documents were also signed: a memorandum of understanding between the Astana International Financial Centre and Paris Europlace, an agreement on main conditions between Samryk-Kazyna and Total Eren S.A., an agreement on cooperation and financing between the KazMunay Gas national company and Air Liquide Eastern Europe S.A., a memorandum of understanding between KazMunay Gas national company and Air Liquide Eastern Europe S.A., a memorandum of cooperation between the Kazakh Invest national company and Total Eren S.A, a memorandum of cooperation between the Qazaq Gaz national company, France Hydrogen, and Medef International, and a memorandum of understanding between the Qazaq Gaz national company and Technip Energies N.V.

In addition, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy national company and Alstom Transport SA and an agreement on main conditions between Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and Societe Generale.

The Kazatomprom national atomic company signed a memorandum on cooperation with the Orano Group and a memorandum of understanding with I2EN.

A memorandum on cooperation between the QazBioPharm national holding and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health France was also signed.

The following documents were also signed: a memorandum of cooperation between Karaganda Osetr, Cavier House Premier, and Swiss Choice Holding SA, a contract for the sale of a share between Magnetic Oil and Total Energies, a memorandum on interaction in peaceful atom use between the Kazakh Energy Ministry and the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation in nuclear waste management.
