UK adds Manturov, Pamfilova and other high-ranking Russian officials to sanctions list

LONDON. Nov 30 (Interfax) - The United Kingdom has designated Russian Industry and Trade Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Russian Central Elections Commission Chairperson Ella Pamfilova, Federal Penitentiary Service Director Arkady Gostev, a number of heads of Russian regions and internal republics, as well as some draft officers of Russian cities and regions, as individuals subject to sanctions.

In particular, Kalmykia head Batu Khasikov, Murmansk regional governor Andrei Chibis, Belgorod regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, Rostov regional governor Vasily Golubev, Omsk regional governor Vasily Burkov, Magadan regional governor Sergei Nosov, Arkhangelsk regional governor Alexander Tsybulsky, Ingushetia head Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, Dagestan head Sergei Melikov, and Krasnodar Territory governor Veniamin Kondratyev were added to the sanctions list.

Additionally, Moscow draft officer Maxim Loktev, Rostov regional draft officer Igor Yegorov, Altai Territory draft officer Marat Usmanov, Altai Republic draft officer Oleg Denisenko, and Kaliningrad regional draft officer Yury Boichenko were subject to sanctions.

Sanctions were also imposed on director of the Rostov regional branch of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service Dmitry Bezrukikh and director of the Tula regional branch of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service Ivan Prokopenko.

The chairman of the Rostov Regional Elections Commission, Andrei Burov, was also added to the sanctions list.
