Novak: Russia has hard line on oil price cap: This is unacceptable, we will operate only as per market conditions
MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Russia considers the discussed price cap on Russian oil to be unacceptable, and it intends to operate only according to market conditions, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the IV Russia-China Energy Business Forum in Moscow.
"We have a rather hard line, and I have said this many times. No matter what the price cap is, even if it is high, it is unacceptable in principle. We will still operate according to the market," Novak said.
