Sechin: Russian companies ready to present proposals to China in all key energy areas, including gas, oil, coal, electricity, nuclear

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Russian companies are ready to present proposals to China in all key areas of energy cooperation, Executive Secretary of the Presidential Commission for Strategic Development of the Fuel and Energy Sector and Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said during the IV Russia-China Energy Business Forum.

"At this stage Russian energy companies are prepared to present proposals to Chinese partners in all key areas of such [...] partnership, in coal and in gas, in oil, in electricity, in cooperation through Rosatom," Sechin said.

He also said that "Rosneft played an important role in the strategic turn to the East."

"We always advocated for integral cooperation with Chinese partners along the whole process chain: exploration and production, refining, construction of power generation, sales on potential markets, including sales through retail chains. Such cooperation, as a rule, implies the exchange of stakes, creation of joint ventures, supplies of equipment, technology partnership," Sechin said.
