Ukrainian govt approves $500-mln borrowing from IBRD

MOSCOW. No 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government approved borrowing $500 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) at a meeting on Friday, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

The government said it would be reasonable to borrow $500 million from the IBRD for a project funding sustainable public governance in Ukraine.
