Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine reports smooth operation, use of reserve energy capacities

MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine has ensured uninterrupted gas transportation amid power outages and has dedicated all of its resources to continue gas transportation in Ukraine and in the direction of the EU, the Ukrainian media said on Thursday evening, with the reference to the corporate press service.

"Gas Transmission System Operator has been meeting the orders of all clients in full and has been transporting gas consistent with nominations," the company said in a statement on its website.

Despite the extremely difficult conditions, Gas Transmission System Operator is doing everything it can to mitigate the impact of power outages on its operation. The company has reserve energy capacities, which are used as need be, and gets ready for various scenarios "to be able to resort to the available modes."

At the moment, the company is repairing gas transmission system elements and "providing smooth gas transportation in accordance with its obligations to EU clients," the statement said.
