Boris Johnson becomes honorary citizen of Kiev - Mayor Klichko
MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been awarded the title of honorary citizen of Kiev, the Ukrainian capital's Mayor Vitaly Klichko said.
"The Kiev City Council has approved the decision to award former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson the title of honorary citizen of Kiev," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Klichko as saying in a social media post on Thursday.
"Boris has visited the Ukrainian capital many times. Boris Johnson has done and, I am sure, will continue to do all he can to ensure that Britain and world leaders will provide Ukraine with the help it needs," the Kiev mayor said.
