Biden hopes aid to Ukraine will continue after Republicans won House majority

WASHINGTON. Nov 24 (Interfax) - United States President Joe Biden has expressed hope that the U.S. would continue providing assistance to Ukraine after the Republican Party won the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives following midterm elections.

"This is no time to walk away from Ukraine," Biden said.

"We had a lot of talk in this last election about whether the other team is going to continue to support Ukraine, and I still believe there's enough support there that we can continue," he said.
