Ukraine must stop conflict, everything is in its hands now - Lukashenko
MINSK. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has called on Ukraine to stop the conflict, adding that everything is in its hands now.
"Everything is in Ukraine's hands. It is not because I want to shoulder this issue [holding talks with Russia] onto [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky or Ukraine. It is true that everything is in Ukraine's hands now," the SB. Belarus Segodnya state media outlet quoted Lukashenko as saying.
"It is hard, it is complicated, it is difficult, but it is necessary to start to restore itself, if they want it. It is necessary to stop, it is necessary to end this, because down the road there will be the complete elimination of Ukraine. And it is not what [Russian President Vladimir] Putin had once said long before the operation that Ukraine would be at risk of losing its statehood. It will be the elimination of Ukraine. It is necessary to stop now," he said.
